As Valentine’s Day approaches, now is the time to reflect on how we choose to demonstrate our love to those we care about most. This is a reminder to buy your wife flowers, write a kind note to a friend, and make sure your kid has the latest valentines for his elementary school class. It takes little effort to love and give, but it must be intentional and will enrich your life.
Because we never know when our last day will come, it’s important that we do all we can to prepare so our loved ones are taken care of. Because death is so final, we have to get life insurance right every single time. Remember that life insurance is more than a sale that earns you a buck, it is an act of love that will truly change your customer’s lives. If done right, it can aid their retirement, bringing comfort while they are living, and help them through the fog of grief. And will give continued protection to their loved ones when they pass on.
You can use our new discussion guides to decide how to best approach your customer’s situation as you use the Stairs and Buckets video to teach them. Whatever you do, try to use that emotion of love to help them understand the importance of the concepts you are using. Approach them with love and a desire for their well-being. As Pastor Richard Warren said, “The most desired gift of love is not diamonds or roses or chocolate. It is focused attention.”
